Georgia Medicaid Manual

The Official Medicaid Manual was located at http://odis.dhs.ga.gov/ChooseCategory.aspx?cid=813. Prior to the release of MT 72, it was moved to a different location under the name Policy and Manual Management System (PAMMS). Medicaid appears under the heading for Department of Family and Children Services in a drop-down menu on the left. This website (the one you are looking at right now) is an unofficial mirror of Georgia’s Medicaid Manual. It was originally developed more than a decade ago (then hosted under gaelderlaw.net) when the offical manual was frequently unavailable. All linked pages have been converted to PDF format. It is our plan to include current and prior versions of the Manual as it changes. Over time, we may also provide commentary on the manual.

With the release of MT 73, we now have links to the official manual sections beside the morror version hosted here. The new official version of the manual has hotlinks when the manual cross-references other sections. It is hoped that the official links will automatically update so we suggest that you use them when they are available (e.g., not down for maintenance).

CURRENT THROUGH TRANSMITTAL 73 (Last changed on 9-26-2024; last checked 9/30/2024)

With the release of Cover Letter 72, effective, August 16, 2024, the entire manual appeared as a single PDF document you can access here or here. To allow comparison of prior versions, and to allow for access when the official website is unavailable, we have posted a copy here: Medicaid Manual as of August 16, 2024 (Entire Manual). Links to individual sections are below, but the new font/format has not been updated for sections that have not changed.
