VA posts regarding its Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers

On April 5, 2023, the VA posted (presumably to remind everyone) regarding its comprensive assistance for family caregivers. The VA said “Support for caregivers means making sure you’re informed about the programs, resources, and services available to you. The Caregiver Support Program (CSP) provides clinical services to caregivers of Veterans who are enrolled in the Department of Veterans Affairs health care. CSP’s resources are offered through two programs:

  • The Program of General Caregiver Support Services, or PGCSS, and
  • The Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers, or PCAFC.”

Also on April 5, 2023, the VA also posted links to training and guides for school certifying officials (SCOs) of schools that have students using the GI Bill. These are required if the school has 20 or more GI Bill students.
