Remembering What’s Important – A Message from My Parents

My parents sent me this message in an email and I thought it was worth sharing:

As we were reading last night with your brother in John chapter 11, we started thinking of the number of minutes in a day, and then that led into the number of days we have lived.

Psalm 139:15-16 (ASV)
My frame was not hidden from thee, When I was made in secret, And curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them.

Dad as of 2021 29,950
Mom as of 2021 28,489
Me as of 2021 20,453
Brother as of 2021 20,084
Wife as of 2021 15,340

Psalm 90:12 (ASV): So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

We just thought this was an interesting thing to look at and consider. Love to you and have a wonderful day today.
