NDI Webinar: Seeing Eye Dog and Therapy Animal Services

On Thursday, August 17th, 2023: 12 noon – 1 p.m. ET, the National Disability Institute will host a webinar on Seeing Eye Dog and Therapy Animal Services.

The announcement says participants will learn more from Don McGowan, a volunteer at The Seeing Eye and Nancy George-Michalson, Executive Director of New York Therapy Animals, Inc., about their services, volunteer and training opportunities. They are making a positive difference for people who have disabilities. Come prepared to ask questions about your rights and responsibilities. Also, find out how you may help to get the word out about the benefits of these specialized services.

The NDI website indicates you can watch the recording later if you miss the live program, and the materials and a transcript will be available for download.
